In 2016 we provided detailed HVAC design for the Nordana marine project, working for MBM Perego.
Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning on board a vessel must work in a compact space and in changing outdoor conditions. Every duct and unit competes for room, and the systems need to keep crew and technical spaces comfortable and safe throughout a voyage.
Detailed design is the stage where these systems are fully defined, so that they can be built and installed with confidence. It calls for close attention to routing, capacities and coordination with the rest of the vessel's services.
Nordana is part of our portfolio of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning engineering for vessels, alongside projects such as FREMM and Queen Mary 2.
