Energo began work in 2007 as an MEP design practice. In 2008 Marija Golubović became one of the first LEED Accredited Professionals in Europe, and certification became the second half of the practice. The two have grown together since.
The first large LEED project was Vodafone Village in Milan, certified Gold. In Belgrade, Ušće Shopping Center became the first LEED for Existing Buildings certification in the region. Since then the work has covered offices, retail, hospitality, industry, data centres, harbours and heritage buildings, from 100 to 150,000 square metres.
Today the practice designs building services, models and simulates performance, tests what has been built, and guides projects through LEED, WELL, BREEAM, DGNB, Parksmart and WiredScore. We work in Serbian, Italian, English, French, German, Croatian and Russian, to European, American and Russian standards.
