Danilo leads Energo's MEP engineering and BREEAM work. He spent more than twenty years managing MEP design and construction in Italy and abroad, which is why he weighs every sustainability measure against what it costs to build and what it saves to run.

about danilo
From the construction site to the certificate
Danilo graduated in engineering from Politecnico di Milano and built his career as a project manager, leading MEP design and construction companies in Italy and internationally. That background shapes how he approaches green building: a measure earns its place when the numbers support it over the life of the building.
As Sustainability Director and a partner at Energo, he leads the firm's MEP engineering and BREEAM assessment work. He is a BREEAM International Assessor and a LEED Green Associate, and he coordinated the LEED certification of Vodafone Village in Milan.
He also advises manufacturers and systems engineering firms developing products for green buildings, and has spoken at ENEA, EIRE, MADEexpo, Green Building Expo, the US Embassy in Rome and the Italian Embassy in Belgrade.
