Energo took on a comprehensive sustainability and coordination role for the IT Park Inđija project, guiding it to become the first business park in the Balkans built in line with LEED standards and ultimately achieving LEED Gold certification. From the very beginning, in the design phase, we acted as LEED Process Administrator and LEED Consultant, aligning architects, MEP engineers, and contractors around a shared set of sustainability goals.
Throughout design and construction, we were the central point that translated LEED requirements into concrete decisions on drawings, materials, systems, and site practices.
To make LEED an everyday reality on the project, we organized training and education for all stakeholders so that everyone (from designers to on-site teams) understood not only what the requirements were, but why they mattered. We developed and ran detailed energy modelling to test different design options and refine the building’s performance strategy, then oversaw the implementation of the chosen sustainability measures.
In the final stages, we led the full commissioning process (CxA), methodically verifying that building systems were installed correctly and operated as intended. Through this end‑to‑end involvement, we helped Embassy Techzone realize a modern, efficient 25,000 m² office park in Inđija that set a new regional benchmark for sustainable commercial development.
