In 2020 we developed the mechanical, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and plumbing design for Henkel's liquid detergent factory in Kruševac, Serbia. The production facility covers approximately 3,000 m².
Our work followed the project through three stages. The preliminary design set out the overall approach to the systems, the detailed design defined them fully, and the workshop design translated them into the drawings that installers rely on during construction.
In a production building, building services do more than keep people comfortable. Ventilation, heating and water systems need to work alongside the production process itself, so coordination between the design disciplines matters from the very beginning.
Carrying the design through every stage allowed us to keep that coordination consistent, from the first layouts to the details used on site. Kruševac is also where we supported Henkel with LEED certification of the ADW production building.
