In 2016 we acted as Commissioning Authority for the Certosa SR3 complex in Milan, working for Alpiq. The project covers approximately 4,200 m².
The assignment covered fundamental and enhanced commissioning as part of the project's LEED certification process.
Fundamental commissioning verifies that the main building systems are installed and working as intended. Enhanced commissioning goes further, bringing the commissioning perspective into the project earlier and extending attention to how the systems will be operated and maintained over time.
Commissioning connects intention with reality. It helps make sure that the energy and comfort goals set during design are actually achieved in the finished building, supporting the verification of systems within the wider sustainability programme.
