The project has achieved BREEAM International New Construction 2016 – Very Good, with an overall score of 63.9%, confirming a robust sustainability framework at base-build level within a major logistics hub.

As a Shell & Core development located at Interporto di Bologna, the asset focuses on long-term flexibility and tenant readiness, while safeguarding environmental performance at building level.

Key certified features include:

• strong management and health & wellbeing foundations, suitable for future occupiers;

• solid transport and accessibility performance, integrated within the logistics ecosystem;

• excellent water efficiency, independent of tenant fit-out choices;

• balanced results in energy, materials and waste, aligned with a base-build strategy;

Throughout the project, ENERGO acted as BREEAM Assessor, providing energy modelling, LCA and LCC analyses, commissioning support, indoor air quality assessments, and sustainability consultancy at Shell & Core level.
