Energo has been appointed as WELL Performance Testing Organization.
We provide performance testing services to WELL v2 registered projects all around the world. If you have a WELL registered project, contact us today, we would be happy to provide you with more information regarding the process for your specific project.
What is a WELL Performance Testing Organization?
A WELL Performance Testing Organization is an organization that provides performance testing services to WELL, v2 projects. Each WELL Performance Testing Organization has at least one approved WELL Performance Testing Agent, at least one WELL AP has a quality management plan that has been approved by GBCI and has agreed to GBCI’s Terms & Conditions.
What is a WELL Performance Testing Agent?
A WELL Performance Testing Agent is an individual who has completed the WELL Performance Testing Agent Training maintains high-quality ratings (both client ratings and GBCI quality ratings) and is approved to conduct various on-site performance testing for WELL v2 projects.
What is WELL Performance Testing?
WELL is a performance-based system and every WELL project is verified through on-site testing of building performance. For WELL v2 projects, these performance tests for various air quality, water quality, lighting and acoustic parameters will be carried out by a WELL Performance Testing Organization that employs GBCI-trained WELL, Performance Testing Agents.
The verification process consists of two phases: one for documentary verification and another for on-site verification or “Performance Verification”. This verification is performed by an accredited professional called a Performance Testing Agent (PTA). ENERGO is one of the few European Companies with real experience accredited to carry out WELL v1 and WELL v2 projects.
This verification process is differential and allows you to prove the building’s performance vs WELL Standard.
The performance verification consists of the following modalities:
- Air quality
- Water quality
- Thermal Comfort
Sampling air and water to be evaluated in the laboratory
Visual inspections of specific elements to prove compliance with the different measures.
Thanks to our Performance Testing Agent, with the support of all our internal engineering staff including a Chemical Engineer, and with our measuring equipment (WELL and LEED Compliant) we assess your building’s indoor environmental quality by taking all the required measurements.
- Air Quality: all the required parameters
- Water Quality: turbidity and other 40 chemical and biological parameters.
- Light: visual lighting circadian lighting etc.
- Comfort: Thermal comfort
- Acoustics: background noise, reverberation time, etc.
The total duration of the tests varies depending on the size of the building.
