The WELL Building Standard is developed by the International WELL Building Institute and certified through GBCI. It combines practice in design and construction with medical and scientific research, and it is performance-based: air, water, light and comfort are verified on site after construction.
WELL v2 is organised into ten concepts: Air, Water, Nourishment, Light, Movement, Thermal Comfort, Sound, Materials, Mind and Community. It works alongside rating systems such as LEED and BREEAM, so many projects pursue it together with one of them.

The ten concepts, and how preconditions and optimisations work.
From registration to performance verification.
The research behind each concept and what it asks of the building.
What is tested after construction, and why performance testing decides the outcome.
How WELL aligns with other rating systems on shared projects.
Pathways for new buildings, interiors and existing buildings.
Shaping spaces for health and comfort.
