The building has achieved BREEAM International New Construction 2016 – Very Good, with an overall score of 63.2%, confirming the integration of environmental performance within a structured delivery process.

As part of the Interporto di Bologna logistics platform, the project adopts a reliability-driven sustainability approach, based on technical consistency and delivery quality rather than bespoke solutions.

The certified performance includes:

• balanced results across core BREEAM categories, ensuring predictable environmental outcomes;

• solid energy and water efficiency, supporting stable operations;

• effective waste and land use management, aligned with disciplined construction practices;

• good health, wellbeing and transport performance, suitable for high-occupancy logistics use.

Throughout the project, ENERGO acted as BREEAM Assessor, delivering energy modelling, LCA/LCC analyses, commissioning activities, indoor air quality assessments, and sustainability consultancy focused on infrastructure efficiency and network integration.
