Advanced thermomechanical studies on the Monumental and Historical building “La Collegiata” of Castiglione Olona, special studies and simulations were performed to identify the themophisical impact on Masolino da Panicale’s frescoes (XIV century) in the baptistery.Design of the thermal and humidity control systems to maintain the ideal internal conditions for preserving the frescoes.
