OVS Bari – Building 1 is a next-generation logistics facility designed to combine operational efficiency, environmental sustainability and long-term asset value.
The project has achieved BREEAM certification, confirming the adoption of internationally recognised best practices in sustainable design and construction for the logistics sector.

An integrated design approach drives the certified performance, with a clear focus on:

• energy-efficient solutions, reducing operational demand and emissions;

• responsible water management, including consumption control and surface water run-off mitigation;

• careful material selection, supporting durability and reduced life-cycle impacts;

• pollution prevention measures, protecting the surrounding environment;

• high indoor environmental quality, ensuring comfort, lighting and wellbeing for occupants.

Overall, OVS Bari – Building 1 demonstrates how logistics assets can evolve towards resilient and ESG-oriented models, enhancing long-term investment value while supporting the client’s strategic objectives.

Throughout the project, ENERGO acted as BREEAM Assessor and technical sustainability consultant, delivering energy modelling, LCA and LCC analyses, commissioning coordination, indoor environmental and air quality assessments, and design-stage consultancy aligned with BREEAM performance targets.
