Ing. Marija Golubovic – Technical Director, partner in Energo Group

Marija Golubovic is a world-class mechanical engineer, with over 20 years of experience designing and commissioning mechanical systems for a wide range of building types, military vessels, and cruise ships, and a true green building pioneer.

As one of the first LEED-APs in south-central Europe (first in Italy, since 2008), she has served as designer, consultant, commissioning agent, and LEED Administrator for numerous LEED projects.

She administered the certification of the first LEED-CS Project in Italy (Gold Level), Croatia and Serbia (Gold Level), and one of the few LEED-certified shopping centers in all of Europe (USCE).

Marija is one of the first European LEED for Homes Green Raters and a  HERS Rater. She is the also the first certified Parksmart™ Advisor in Europe and the first woman in Europe to become a Certified Commissioning Authority ( from AABC Commissioning Group since 2013)

Registered commissioning engineer for the Region of Lombardy and technical expert consultant at the Court of Milan,  Marija is a leading champion of the LEED and green buildings throughout Italy and the Balkans.

In 2010, she founded the Serbia Green Building Council and served as its first president. LEED Fellow and member of the USGBC Faculty™ she has trained hundreds of professionals throughout the region.

LEED Fellows are recognized as the most exceptional professionals in the green building industry, and it is the most prestigious designation awarded from GBCI.

Webinars and education programs created by Marija and her team are available in 7 languages – English, Italian, Serbian, Macedonian, Russian, French and Spanish  with the intention to facilitate European market in LEED adoption.

She has organized numerous conferences and symposia in Italy, Serbia, Greece, Albania, Germany, Russia and beyond, attracting leading experts from all over Europe and the United States.

Eng. Danilo Franchi – Sustainability Director, partner in Energo Group

Danilo Franchi after having graduated engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, he continued his professional growth as a Project Manager.

 

He gained extensive experience leading MEP design and construction companies, where he worked, in the Project management field, in Italy and throughout the world.

 

Being a LEED Green Associate and BREEAM International Assessor, and having more than 20 years of experience in the systems engineering construction sector and on numerous green-certified projects, he has developed a profound knowledge of the sustainable and Green-Building practices with a particular focus on the issues regarding the cost-benefit ratio.

 

As an expert in project management and integrated strategies for sustainable construction he has coordinated in the design and construction stages, the LEED certification process of the largest building in the world with Commercial Interior certificate (VODAFONE VILLAGE in Milan is the largest building with the LEED certificate in Italy).

 

As a consultant for the development of “green” products, he has technically supported several construction companies and systems engineering companies and has been a speaker at several events on behalf of ENEA, EIRE, MADEexpo, Green Building Expo, the US Embassy in Rome, The Italian Embassy in Belgrade.
